Description
Total ammonia (NH3) emissions from waste (including sewage) within the geographical area, measured in kg. The subsectors included are: Landfills, bio-treatment of waste, treatment of waste water, incineration of hazardous waste, accidental fires and other waste management. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. A large proportion of farms can lead to large emissions locally. The key figure follows up the environmental quality objective No eutrophication, see also sverigesmiljomal.se.
