Emissions to air of ammonia (NH3), transport, kg/inv
Description
Total ammonia (NH3) emissions from transport within the geographical area, measured in kg divided by number of inhabitants. Transportation includes passenger cars, trucks, railways, mopeds/motorcycles, buses, enter air traffic, domestic civil shipping, military transport but also emissions from wear from tyres, brakes, road surface and evaporation from road vehicles. Emissions per inhabitant should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. A large proportion of farms can lead to large emissions locally.
