Description
Average distance of residents in km to the nearest protected nature. Protected nature refers to national parks, nature reserves, cultural reserves, natural monuments, biotope protection areas, animal and plant protection areas and water protection areas. The key figure follows up the environmental quality objective ‘Good built environment’. Sweden’s environmental objectives have protected nature within 1 km, see also www.sverigesmiljomal.se.
