Description
Total emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from electricity and district heating within the geographical area, divided by inhabitants. Emissions per inhabitant should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. Sometimes road traffic on the core road network and individual industrial activities can lead to high emissions locally. The key figure follows up the environmental quality objective Frisk air, see also sverigesmiljomal.se.
