Total dental visits of adult patients, number/adult inhabitants
Description
Total number of visits to dentists or dental hygienists at clinics located in the county, regardless of whether the clinic is run on its own or privately, among adults, divided by the number of adult counties. Adult means people who are above the age limit for free dental care for children and young people. Until 2016, this refers to the year in which the person turns 21. In 2017 the year when the person turns 22, in 2018 the year when the person turns 23. The statistics are based on approved dental care visits reported to Försäkringskassan within the state dental care allowance.
