Description
Number of manual carer-operated wheelchairs prescribed (prescribing is a measure to provide a person with assistive devices). The device can be prescribed when walking aids are not sufficient if there is a need for self-moving, but the device should not replace rehabilitation. Prescription of special accessories for the wheelchair can be done after consultation with the assistive device consultant. Various types of manual carer-operated wheelchairs are available, such as confort wheelchairs and transport wheelchairs. For comfort wheelchairs, the all-round wheelchair shall be assessed insufficiently. ISO code: 122218.
