Description
Number of full-legsortoses prescribed (prescribing is an action to provide a person with aids). Orthosis is a collective name for assistive devices whose area of use is external support on a part of the body used to completely or partially replace an absent or deficient joint, muscle and skeletal function. Fullbensortoses or Knee-Ankel photortos (KAFO) are available in two variants. In case of lumbar injury and weakness of the hip muscles but full strength in the knee extensors, whole-benzotosis with an open knee joint can be used as an aid, but at lower muscle strength in the knee extensors there are full-leg varietyoses with knee locks.
