Description
Relative 5-year survival in cancer, all tumor locations except breast, prostate and skin cancers other than malignant melanoma. Refers to patients 30-89 years at the time of diagnosis. Age-standard values. The measurement period is five years, where the reported year is the last of these. The numerator: The observed survival of the group receiving a cancer other than breast, prostate and skin cancers other than malignant melanoma. Denominator: The expected survival of a comparable population in terms of main factors affecting survival (here: gender, age and time period). This key figure is updated every five years. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
