Net cost of specialised somatic day care (excluding medicinal products within the pharmaceutical benefit), divided by the number of inhabitants in the region on 31/12. Net cost means gross cost less gross revenue. Day care is outpatient care that involves more extensive and/or resource-intensive efforts than a visit normally requires.
