Net cost of specialised somatic (body) day care (excluding costs for pharmaceutical benefits), divided by the number of inhabitants in the region on 31/12. Net cost means gross cost less gross revenue. Day care is outpatient care that involves more extensive and/or resource-intensive efforts than a visit normally requires.
