Description
Region's purchases of primary care, from private companies/carers, as a share of net cost excluding pharmaceuticals in the primary care benefit (%). Purchase of business is payment for a public task (core business) that has been handed over to someone else to perform. Net cost means gross cost less gross revenue. Both the purchase and the net cost include the purchase of services.
