Description
Number of patients with myocardial infarction in Swedeheart/Riks-HIA under the age of 80, divided by the number of patients under the age of 80 with myocardial infarction in the National Board of Health and Welfare's patient register. The degree of coverage is measured in patients with myocardial infarction (I21) as their main diagnosis. If a patient has been treated in several care units during a continuous period, it is counted as one treatment session. Patients who have been treated in several hospitals at the same time have been counted to the hospital that finally discharged the patient. For the key figure, Swedeheart has set a higher target level of 95% and a lower target level of 90%.
