Description
Share of employees, aged 20-64, working in occupations that match well with their education (Matching Degree, M2). In order for this to apply, there must be a strong correlation between the subject-matter of the education and the profession (e.g. technical training – technical profession) and, on the other hand, the level of education must be right in relation to what the profession requires. Employees who lack or have insufficient professional or training tasks are not included in the matching measure (in either numerator or denominator). Since 2019, Statistics Sweden uses the monthly employer declarations at individual level (AGI) as a data source instead of the annual control data (KU), which means that comparisons with previous years should be made with caution. The statistics have been revised for all years. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
