Buildings in seaside location, total, number of buildings
Description
Total number of buildings in a seaside location in the geographical area, as of 31 December. A building has a beachfront location when it is located within a maximum distance of 100 metres from the shoreline. Shoreline refers to the dividing line where water meets land. A building is defined in accordance with the Planning and Building Act (2010:900) as a durable structure consisting of roofs or roofs and walls that is permanently located on land or partly or partly underground or permanently placed in a specific place in water and intended to be constructed so that people can reside in it. A physical building divided by property boundaries is recorded in the Real Estate Register as several buildings.
