Children affected by custody, housing and/or access investigations, number/10000 inhabitants 0-17 years
Description
The number of children concerned by custody, housing and/or visitation investigations is divided by the number of children (0-17 years) in the geographical area and then multiplied by 10000. The purpose of a custody investigation is to provide the court with the basis for decisions on sole or joint custody of children, Chapter 6, Section 19, third paragraph, FB. The purpose of the housing investigation is to provide the court with the basis for decisions on children’s housing when the parents do not agree. The purpose of access investigation is to provide the court with the basis for decisions on children’s access to parents with whom the child does not live permanently, Chapter 6, Section 19, third paragraph, FB.
