Mental ill-health among children and young people, share (%)
Description
Number of persons aged 0-19 with mental illness divided by the average population aged 0-19. Mental illness is produced through an index that describes whether the individual in the current year meets at least one of the following: Prescribed and retrieved psychopharmaceutical (see definitions), diagnosed with mental illness F10-F99 or treated in a psychiatric clinic (MVO 9). Average population refers to the average population registered in the population register from Statistics Sweden, as of 1 January and 31 December of the year in question. Data are available according to gender breakdown.
