Standard cost of care for the elderly, SEK/inv
Description
Standard cost (SEK/inv 1 Nov fg year) for health and social care according to SoL/HSL to persons 65-w years calculated according to the municipal equalisation system. The standard cost of care for elderly people is calculated on the basis of the number of cohabiting and single residents in the age groups 65-79, 80-89 and 90 years and above. The municipality’s age compensation is calculated by the proportion of residents in each group multiplied by a defined standard cost for the group. In addition, there are additions or deductions for differences in: home care in sparsely populated areas, institutional housing in sparsely populated areas, language, ill health and wage costs. New cost equalisation from 2020 will affect standard costs from 2020.
