Length of care as discharge, number of days/inv 65+
Description
Total length of care when patients, discharged during the measurement period, were ready to discharge divided by the number of people aged 65 and older on 31/12. The day on which the patient is discharged is not counted as discharge time. Until 2016, only people aged 65 and over were targeted. As of 2017, all persons are included. Studies have shown that 90-95 % of patients are 65 years of age or older.
