Description
Number of pupils in grade 9 who are eligible for a vocational programme divided by the number of pupils who have received or would have received grades in at least one subject according to the goal- and knowledge-related grading system in grade 9. In order to have upper secondary school admission to a vocational programme, approved grades in Swedish or Swedish as a second language, English and mathematics and in at least five other subjects from compulsory school are required. The assignment refers to pupils in municipal schools in the municipality regardless of the place of residence. The assignment refers to academic year. If the total number of pupils is 40 or more and the number of non-qualified is 1-4 pupils, then the proportion of pupils is shown to be 95 percent. Newly immigrated students have come to Sweden for the last four years. They haven't lived in Sweden or gone to Swedish school before. Students with unknown backgrounds do not have a personal identity number, e.g. if they have not yet been registered in Sweden. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
