Description
Tuition costs elementary school year 1-9 school municipality, divided by number of pupils in the municipality’s primary school. Costs related to all activities linked to teaching and hours, i.e. mainly the salaries of teachers and other pedagogical staff (e.g. leisure teachers, preschool teachers and special educators) for pedagogical work with the pupils. Examples of teaching and hour plan activities include, in addition to regular teaching, special support measures, exams and work-life orientation. Salary for school management, e.g. salary for the principal and other staff’s work with management function is included. If the teacher for part of his or her time has other tasks than the pedagogical work with students, that part of the salary is reported under Other. Salary costs for teachers and other pedagogical staff during the development of skills shall be included, as well as salary costs for any replacement. Costs and reimbursement of tutoring of teacher candidates are presented here. The gross cost of teacher training is reported as the cost of teaching and the state subsidy received as compensation for increased wage costs is recognised as income under Other. The data relates to calendar years, measured at 31 December. It refers to own direction.
