Net cost deviation preschool incl open preschool, SEK million
Description
Net cost deviation is net cost minus reference cost for preschool, here shown in SEK million. Pedagogical care (formerly known as family daycare) is not included. Net cost is gross cost minus gross revenue. The reference cost is based on net costs and structural variables for the year in question. The standard cost of preschool is calculated using the variables average duration of stay at preschool and share of 1-5 year olds. In addition, part of the standard costs are added from the sub-models wages, building structure and population development. Positive values indicate higher than expected cost mode and negative values a lower than expected cost mode. As of 2019, the net cost deviation is calculated in a new way due to changes in the cost equalisation. This affects comparability with previous years.
