Description
Share of passenger cars in circulation on 31/12, in the geographical area of the electric hybrid fuel type. Electric hybrid cars use the internal combustion engine to charge the electric motor’s battery while travelling, but also braking and idling can be used for charging. Some of the energy that becomes waste heat in a normal car can be used as electricity in the battery and power the electric motor. Electric hybrid cars cannot be charged with a cord.
