Description
Number of electric hybrid passenger cars per 1000 inhabitants in the geographical area 31/12. Electric hybrid cars use the internal combustion engine to charge the electric motor’s battery while travelling, but also braking and idling can be used for charging. Some of the energy that becomes waste heat in a normal car can be used as electricity in the battery and power the electric motor. Electric hybrid cars cannot be charged with a cord.
