Political government in the municipality (1=left, 2=cross-block, 3=bourgeois government, 4=Other Styre, 5=Border/SD)
Description
“Left rule” means a government involving S and/or V, bourgeois rule means a government involving one or more bourgeois parties (C, L, M and Kd). A cross-border government includes one or more bourgeois parties and S and/or V. Before the 2022 elections, a government with only SD or SD and one or more other parties as well as government with only one or more non-parliamentary parties was meant to be ruled by other parties. In the 2022 elections, a category was added – the category “bourgeois/SD”. This category gets a municipality where the Sweden Democrats are part of the government. The Green Party counts after the 2022 elections as a left party (previously this was seen as a “other party” i.e. neither right nor left). Data is collected through a survey to the municipalities after elections to the municipal council. In Kolada, an update takes place in December each year, with any changes announced to SKR during the year.
