MPR vaccinated 2-year-olds, percentage (%)
Description
Share of 2-year-olds receiving 1 MMR vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella. These diseases are rare in Sweden due to high vaccination rates. In order for the disease not to regain its hold, 95 % of the population must be immune, either by vaccination or as a result of a natural infection. The measure aims to describe a part of the health-promoting health care system. Some underreporting and vaccinations given to children in other countries are not registered in the NVR mean that the shown coverage is slightly lower than the actual one.
