Description
Number of commuters (people who work in the municipality/region and live in another municipality/region) minus the number of commuters to the municipality/region divided by the number of employed workers living in the municipality/region (night population). Multiply by 100 for accounting as a percentage. A negative value indicates that several commutes out than into the municipality. Since 2019, Statistics Sweden uses the monthly employer declarations at individual level (AGI) as a data source instead of the annual control data (KU), which means that comparisons with previous years should be made with caution. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
