Description
Self-employed, number. Refers to self-employed persons and joint owners of small companies (self-employed persons in their own AB). Entrepreneurs count as individuals (not businesses). Until 2010, the age groups are 16-84 years old, then 16-74 years. Since 2019, Statistics Sweden uses the monthly employer declarations at individual level (AGI) as a data source instead of the annual control data (KU), which means that comparisons with previous years should be made with caution. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
