Income support as a share of net income among persons in need of protection and dependents (refugees) aged 20-64, share (%)
Description
The numerator consists of total income support. The denominator consists of net income (sum of all taxable and tax-free income minus taxes and other negative transfers). Persons in need of protection and their relatives are persons who have applied for asylum and have been granted a residence permit, their relatives and quota refugees. People may have lived in Sweden for both shorter and longer periods of time. Quality assured data about the target group is available from the 1990s onwards.
