Description
Total emissions of volatile organic substances other than methane (NMVOC) from waste (including sewage) within the geographical area, measured in tonnes. Waste includes emissions from landfills, waste water treatment, bio-treatment of waste, crematories and incineration of hazardous waste, accidental fires, and other waste management. Individual industrial activities can lead to high emissions locally. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions.
