Description
Total emissions of volatile organic substances other than methane (NMVOC) from product use (including solvents) within the geographical area, measured in tonnes divided by number of inhabitants. Product use includes solvent use as well as paint for households and other operations, lubricants, paraffin wax, urea for catalysts, nitrous oxide for product use, fluorescent gases and other product uses. Individual industrial activities can lead to high emissions locally. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions.
