This data set represents the extent of the High Plains aquifer in the states of South Dakota, Wyoming,
Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. This aquifer extent has been
superceded by DS543 https://water.usgs.gov/GIS/metadata/usgswrd/XML/ds543.xml
