HHS System of Records Notices (SORNs) Metadata Inventory
Description
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) publishes the HHS System of Records Notices (SORNs) Metadata Inventory to provide machine-readable access to over 200 publicly available SORNs that HHS has published in the Federal Register pursuant to the Privacy Act (5 U.S.C. ยง 552a). These notices inform the public about records HHS maintains on individuals which HHS retrieves by personal identifier. The inventory is available via open API and downloadable Excel or CSV formats.
