Revision of parts of choice 2020
Description
An MBO course consists not only of a qualification, but also of one or more parts of choice. With choice parts, the student can broaden or deepen his craftsmanship. They cover a total of 15 % of the training time. The study load is 240 clock hours or a multiple thereof (480, 720 or 960). The student also takes an exam, although he can't fall into that part yet. However, the Minister has the intention to make parts of choice conditional on certification.
Parts of choice give flexibility. They can be developed quickly, responding to innovations, societal developments and needs of the national or regional labour market.
