Description
Traffic Accidents_Netherlands_2020_2022 are the collected traffic accidents from 2020 to 2022 from the File Registered Accidents Netherlands, further abbreviated to SOURCE. This is a file with the traffic accident reports of various supplying authorities linked to the National Road File (NWB), a digital road network of the Netherlands. The accidents have been made available in various geo-formats. You can also use a viewer on the Rijkswaterstaat website to view the various accident information in a geographical way. This product allows you to perform various road safety analyses for your management area and is particularly suitable for: policy (formulation, monitoring, evaluation), research and road management. The dataset consists of five files, namely traffic accidents_2020_2022, traffic accidents_2022, traffic accidents_2021, traffic accidents_2020 and the road section geography_01112023 file. This road section geography file contains all road sections that were active on the reference date 01-11-2023 and all possible expired road sections on which accidents have been registered in the relevant years.
