Description
Number and share of agricultural holdings by sex of holder and type of tenure. For the purpose of this dataset, dimension "tenure status" is additive, and holders are considered owners of land even if only part of the utilised agricultural area (UAA) is owned. This dataset does not include legal entities. This dataset provides data for monitoring Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators 5.a.1 - (a) Percentage of people with ownership or secure rights over agricultural land (out of total agricultural population), by sex, and 5.a.1 - (b) Share of women among owners or rights-bearers of agricultural land, by type of tenure. Information is based on censuses and sample surveys.
