Description
Since January 2006, the ‘Protocol Chain Care Multiproblem Families City of Groningen’ has been in force (hereinafter referred to as ‘Protocol Chain Care’). This protocol was drawn up at the request of the Health Care Inspectorate.
The central coordination role lies with the GGD of the municipality of Groningen. The Protocol Chain Care serves to better coordinate and coordinate assistance to families with multiple problems, where there are concerns about the development and/or safety of the children involved.
The Protocol on Chain Care has an effect when the safety or development of the child is no longer at stake and when the offer of help has become adequate.
The optimal assistance to the family must lead to an increase in the capacity of the family and a decrease in the carrying burden, so that the members of the family can better handle and solve the problems and can continue (more) on their own in a healthy educational climate. To this end, the GGD Groningen has set up an evaluation study and has now carried out a preliminary and intermediate measurement. The Research and Statistics Bureau of the municipality of Groningen has been asked to take the final measurement of the research.
