The municipality of Groningen wants to provide the best possible information about products and services of the municipality of Groningen via its website gemeente.groningen.nl.
Visitors to the website can search for information in various ways.
In September 2009, the website of the municipality was expanded with a new search function, namely a collection of a hundred Frequently Asked Questions.
With the answer mentioned for each frequently asked question, both interested citizens and others as well as officials of the municipality of Groningen can quickly find answers to their questions.
By also allowing municipal officials to use the new search function, unambiguous provision of information by officials of the municipality of Groningen is also promoted.
To get an idea of the operation of the new search function Frequently Asked Questions, Stad & Stadhuis commissioned an internet survey among the residents of the municipality of Groningen.
