Description
The national statistical offices of the countries of the European Union cooperate in the Urban Audit project. The aim of this project is to obtain comparable information for the Member States on the living conditions in the largest cities of the EU countries.
In 2009, the European Commission launched the fourth Urban Audit. The first European results of this Urban Audit, which includes 310 variables, will be available in 2011.
The Urban Audit is coordinated by Eurostat. The Netherlands participated for the third time and the Central Bureau of Statistics again coordinated the Dutch data collection.
