Thermometer Downtown Groningen

Description

Commissioned by the municipality of Groningen, research and consultancy firm INTRAVAL carried out the monitor ‘Thermometer Binnenstad Groningen’. Within the monitor, two user categories are distinguished. User Category I consists of daytime visitors, shopkeepers and residents, while User Category II includes evening visitors and hospitality entrepreneurs. Surveys have been conducted among these users of the inner city, in which respondents are asked, among other things, about their Atmosphere and Safety rating and a report figure for the general experience of the inner city. In addition, questions are asked that provide a variety of information on the following seven indicators: Behaviour in public space; Clean his public space; Street view; Management; Traffic; Market; and Passage.
