Description
The Climate Monitor: https://klimaatmonitor.databank.nl/dashboard/dashboard/ monitors the decentralised energy transition (data at municipality level). The Regional Climate Monitor provides local and regional authorities with monitoring information. This allows them to follow their policy goals and evaluate and adjust their policy.
For this, there is information from dozens of sources, such as CBS and RVO. The information is combined into new indicators, which provide a picture of the progress of the decentralised energy transition. Examples are energy consumption, CO2 emissions and renewable energy.
The Regional Climate Monitor does not register new information itself, but uses existing sources of information. These are CBS statistics, subsidy schemes, sector reports and data from individual institutions and companies.
Information per municipality can be requested from the dashboard.
