At the beginning of this year, the Council Committee on Work and Income asked for more insight into the effectiveness of measures aimed at immigrants in the assistance in the short term. Such a study requires a careful analysis of the measures and their impact on the desired effects. In the short term, it is not possible to carry out such a complex study.
In order to collect information about immigrant groups with social assistance benefits in the near future, the Policy Department of the Sozawe Bureau Research has asked for another investigation to be carried out. A study was carried out into the structural differences between, and trends in, the relationship between native and immigrant customers within the Sozawe service. This report reports on this.
The results of the study provide guidance on the direction in which future measures should be sought. The findings can also serve as input for the desired effectiveness study.
