Innovation does not get bored, from research to research group
Description
On 1 September 2007, Louis Polstra said goodbye as head of the Research Office of the municipality of Groningen.
Innovation and vision have been characteristic of the five years Louis worked at Bureau Onderzoek. On the occasion of his departure, Louis is offered this farewell bundle. It fulfills his long-cherished wish: the publication of articles by investigators of the Research Office.
The collection contains five articles on various policy studies conducted under the direction of Louis. By writing these articles, researchers from the Research Office express their gratitude for his inspiring and substantive involvement, his drive for innovation, but also his ability to strengthen the qualities of the Research Office and its employees.
Louis has succeeded in his ambition to bring policy and research closer together.
Currently, Louis Polstra is working as project leader for the Social Affairs and Work department of the municipality of Groningen. This project leadership combines Louis with an appointment at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen as special lecturer in Labour Participation.
When designing and implementing a research programme, Louis collaborates with Bureau Onderzoek, among other things, so that there is fortunately no question of saying goodbye for good.
