Description
The aim of this research is to explore the importance of area qualities for entrepreneurs in business parks with a restructuring task. Restructuring tasks include the refurbishment of degraded public spaces.
Possible (new) area qualities after restructuring could be, for example: facilities, such as catering and creches, and an attractive visual identity of the business park.
Places, including workplaces, are increasingly seen as a product that is consumed and has to meet more and more lifestyle requirements. Furthermore, profiling of business parks along lines of spatial quality is a new trend. More visual area quality of business parks can also contribute to their greater social acceptance.
