Growing and flourishing, sustainability education
Description
Large groups of children are coming into less and less contact with nature. This also changes the experience of nature in that group.There is less feeling for nature and for its conservation and sustainable maintenance.
In addition, Groningen wants to be at the forefront of sustainability: In 2025, Groningen in the Netherlands will be known as the most sustainable city in the country. Nature and sustainability education (NDE) play a crucial role in this.
In order to achieve the goal, that role will have to be filled differently than has been done so far.
