Description
Municipalities are responsible for preventive public health policy, and must record their policy intentions in a memorandum every four years. For this, they need insight into the health status of the population.
Every four years, the GGD Groningen creates a health profile in which an up-to-date picture of public health is sketched. The resulting data form the basis for the choices made in the local health policy note (LGB).
The Health Profiles Groningen were drawn up on the basis of locally collected data and various national data sources.
Most of the figures come from health surveys for adults and for the elderly from the youth survey In the Health Profile
