Municipal crime rates 2006-2007
Description
A broad picture of crime and the offender population in the Netherlands, in municipal overviews The IPOL Service of the National Police Services Corps (KLPD) annually collects data from the HKS detection system.
In general, this concerns data on registered crime (reports) and on persons who have (possibly) committed it (suspects). It is the police's belief that they are perpetrators. For these persons, a police report has been drawn up and sent to the Public Prosecution Service. The judge has yet to rule on it.
These G31 tables only report on suspects. This includes the criminal behaviour of these individuals. This is derived from the crimes for which those persons have been arrested.
In addition to the 31 municipalities that are part of the Big Cities policy, Almere and Apeldoorn are also included in these tables at the request of these cities.
