Final report evaluation study Nijestee
Description
The municipality of Groningen decided in 2004 to shorten the lead time of housing facilities. In late 2004 and early 2005, housing corporation Nijestee implemented a number of organisational measures to speed up work processes.
Three types of applications are distinguished:
(i) Directly Executable Adjustment (DUVA)
(ii) abridged procedure
(iii) quotation process.
The working procedure differs per type of application. The DUVA is used for small low-cost home modifications and can be awarded and handled quickly. More complex and costly adjustments (shortened procedure and quotation process) require more care and sufficient guarantees (offer, assessment, etc.).
The aim was, where possible and responsible, to pursue shorter procedures. The adaptation of the working method has already started in the 2nd half of 2004 and by extension in the year 2005.
This evaluation study consists of two parts:
(1) volume and type of residential facilities granted per year and lead times
(2) satisfaction of Nijestee clients (pre- and nameting).
