Economic inner-city research Groningen
Description
The municipality of Groningen has about 235,000 inhabitants, making Groningen the largest municipality and city in the north. Groningen is also the sixth largest municipality in the Netherlands. Groningen has a great appeal to residents and visitors.
In the past, several studies have been carried out separately on, among other things, the tourist-recreational visit and on the functioning of the retail sector in the centre. In 2019, the decision was taken to combine these studies into one overarching study into the total functioning of the inner city.
