Building Business Reputation Monitor
Description
For the third consecutive year, the Municipal Department of Spatial Planning and Economic Affairs (RO/EZ) of Groningen counts as the development department with the best reputation in the construction world. This is evident from the so-called Reputation Monitor of the trade journal Building Business.
For the fourth time, Building Business has had the reputation of leading organizations in the construction industry examined. This year, 57 organizations have been reviewed. This resulted in four rankings: project promoters (19), corporations (16), consultancies (11) and municipal development services (11).
Volker Wessels, the project developer of the Oostwand Grote Markt in Groningen, Ymere (Amsterdam), Pricewaterhouse Coopers and RO/EZ of the municipality of Groningen finished in the highest place.
Over the phone and via the internet, 4,300 people from the construction industry answered questions about seven characteristics related to ‘reputation’: service-oriented, business-oriented, innovative, socially responsible, employership, transparent, financial performance.
