Postcard for attention (handling money)

Description

Reaching residents of power districts with information on how to handle money The Groningse Kredietbank (GKB) has set up an information campaign about dealing with money for the inhabitants of the Groningen power districts, De Hoogte and the Korreweg district. This has been done in collaboration with a number of other aid organizations: Foundation for Social and Legal Services (MJD), Stiel and Humanitas. The information contained messages about dealing with money and about addresses in the city and district where one can go for advice and help. One of the ways in which this information is disseminated is by delivering postcards door-to-door. O&S Groningen has gauged the fame of the tickets in the power districts. The residents of the power districts have experienced the door-to-door delivery of the postcards as positive to spread information about dealing with money and debt. The content of the tickets is well remembered by the people in the short term. There are clear differences between those who have seen the tickets and those who are unfamiliar with them. It is about knowledge about help in dealing with money and debts. It is not clear whether these differences are caused by the tickets, but it is also not excluded. The assumption is that this knowledge will lead to seeking support if that is the case, immediately or later.
